Emergency Disaster Services
(EDS)

Natural disasters can occur at any time and in any place.

 

With the consequences of climate change felt each season, The Salvation Army’s EDS Program supports first responders, emergency services, victims, and their families when disaster strikes.

 

The ARC will deploy vehicles, staff, and volunteers in the event of a flood, fire, search and rescue operations, and other emergencies. We possess a new Sprinter truck that has an operational kitchen to bring food to people impacted by disaster. We assist with counselling, registration and identification, transportation, emergency housing, feeding or clothing.
